Abstract Photography

In this class, pro photographer Ian Plant will discuss the power of artistic abstraction when making photos. He'll also teach you how to make abstract art images. First, he will define abstract art and share some famous examples from the abstract art movement. Then, he'll share some of his favorite abstract photos from around the world, as well as the stories behind the shots. Ian will discuss the secrets to successful abstract photography, the techniques you can use to create abstract art photos, and how you can incorporate abstract art lessons into your "regular" photography to make more interesting compositions.  This is a technique that everyone should try to improve their understanding of shapes, colors, and emotions in photography.
