During March and April every year, hundreds of mating pair of Osprey return to Blue Cypress Lake in Florida to mate, build nests and fledge their chicks. Osprey nests are large, as seen here. The Cypress trees growing in the lake help protect the eggs and chicks from predators like raccoons.
