This photo was taken just after sunrise in a remote part of Thailand, where I found a statue of buddha reflecting in a lily pond. My intention was to flip the image, creating the illusion that the sky above the statue of the buddha was filled with water lily's and the surrounding green plants. So I placed my camera so I could capture the buddha and the reflection of the water lily's, with a bit of separation between the two. Although I could have shot this with my camera upside down, it was easier to simply flip the image upside down in Lightroom. For me, this photo captured the feeling of the moment.
