Rocky shoreline at sunset, Shore Acres State Park, Coos Bay, Oregon. Shore Acres started as a private estate on a bluff overlooking the Pacific. It was the home of pioneer timber baron Louis J. Simpson. The state of Oregon purchased the estate in 1942. The park also has a beautiful formal garden. The sandstone formations are fascinating.
I love this! Great use of a progression of shapes leading from foreground to background - creating a literal path of stepping stones for the viewer. Nicely done!
