NISI Landscape Polarizer and 3 stop ND filter. It has been a very mild winter here in the Seattle area. I found this reflection in a local pond. Best Wishes to All for a Happy and Peaceful New Year!! Camera settings: FL: 18mm (35mm equivalent 29); Aperture: 5.6; SS: 1/250; ISO: 1600 Tripod mounted to my new (to me) Gitzo 1228 MKs with RRS BH 55--total weight about 5lb.

Roadside stop on return from Lamar valley--beautiful landscapes everywhere.

Stopped for a sunrise photo on the way to Lamar valley.

Mount Moran at sunset looking up the valley across willow flats. I was not sure how this photograph would turn out. We showed up a little earlier than I would have like an we were on a short time schedule. I used a VND filter to feather the light and obsured the sun behind the tree. I like the results--Shooting into the sun always seems to provide good results--. I hope you like this one!!

View from Cattleman's Crossing on the Snake River Lots of Clouds with a nice reflection. I was exploring looking for some nice photographic opportunities when I came on this historic site "Cattlemans Crossing" on the Snake River. The clouds and reflections were pretty crazy and made for a fun shoot. I bracketed with different exposure levels and I like the detail in this one.. Enjoy!
